W.T.F (is wrong with my bike?!)

Calling all folk who identify as Woman/Trans/Femme (WTF)!

We hear you.

Women have been asking us: how can we access the tools, the knowledge, and space to learn to fix our own bikes? We have the answer! Join us at Conti where you can use our stands, tools, and Alexandera will share the skills she's been picking up after years of wrenching in bike shops.

We will have space for 10 individuals for this 2 session series. Each class will be 2 hours long from 6:30PM - 8:30PM on June 30th and July 14th. When signing up you are committing to both classes on the two dates listed above. These classes will be a "donate what you can" style with 100% of the proceeds going towards funding for youth and adult programming within the Fond du Lac community.

To sign up for this limited offering, please contact Alexandera directly by filling out this form. Alexandera will look over the submissions and contact the people that have been accepted into this first set of sessions. We hope to have more sessions in the future, but this will be us getting our feet wet to see what the demand is and how we can better serve this community.

***ALL PERSONS PARTICIPATING IN THESE CLASSES WILL NEED TO ADHERE TO CURRENT CONTINENTAL SKI & BIKE COVID POLICIES.

June 30

Potential options for this weeks focus will be:

  • Fix a flat
  • Brake Adjustments
  • Derailleur Adjustments
  • Bike Fit Adjustments (saddle position, handlebar tweaking)
  • Pedal Install/Adjustments
  • Suspension Maintenance

We will alter the focus for each day based on the responses from the participants in the forms that they fill out to get into these classes. If people want to dive deep on a more in depth technical task, sweet, but if the group is wanting some more basic skills, that's awesome as well! We're here to work with you with exactly where you are at for your skillset.
