Packed with features to dominate the descents, the 36 Performance answers the call from aggressive all-mountain riders. This fork features a GRIP 3-position damper, an adjustable FLOAT air spring, and rebound adjust.
- GRIP damper features a 3-position lever for easy setup and firm mode for pedaling efficiency
- Generative design-assisted lower leg arch shape increases torsional stiffness by 20%, while reducing overall material
- Additional 30mm bushing overlap than the prior model 36, reduces chassis friction, increases stiffness, and boosts performance
- New compliant FLOAT EVOL air spring design allows for a slight misalignment under load, reducing chassis friction noticeably
- Lower leg bypass channels were relocated 90° inboard to a lower stress area, reducing dynamic friction under bending forces
- Double-butted stanchion (on damper side) shaves weight, helping us achieve the goal of zero weight increase
- New air spring top cap for easier air volume adjustments, removable with cassette tool (Sold separately)
- Redesigned bleeders are sleeker and easier to operate
- Kabolt X axle shaves grams while increasing torsional stiffness via a sleeveless, single-sided pinch bolt design
- Black anodized upper tubes for added durability
