Inspired by skimo racing, the latest members of our ski family place an emphasis on fast ascents and long-distance travel. They reside somewhere between our WSP and UltraVector skis. Witness the new Voile Objective. Equally at home atop The Haute Route or on a long jaunt in The Catskills, these skis are light enough to go the distance and stiff enough to hold an edge on boilerplate. They won't exactly shine in deep powder, but many an East Coast skier will likely press them into service at their local ski resort. And as for the Voile Traction Pattern Base, you already know the deal with that, right? *The Traction Pattern base does not eliminate the need to carry skins. ATTENTION: These skis are intended to be used with AT bindings. Voile Objective BC Skis mounted with telemark bindings or quiver killers are not covered under Voile factory warranty.

Big Mountain & Powder Directional / Carving The SuperCharger is hailed as our best for skiing in-bounds, but make no mistake: it is the ski for those with an inclination to test the limits. Nothing speaks more to that desire than traction pattern base and the efficiency it provides when touring long distances over irregular topography. The SuperCharger BC represents the widest ski in our scaled lineup. When merged with this ski’s long running length, moderate flex, and generous camber, the effect is a particularly adept skin-free touring vehicle that will leave Northeastern skiers especially pleased, as well as those who enjoy skiing some of the “flatter” forests in the Rocky Mountains. In short, expect to see them anywhere that nordic bindings still have a foothold. You can anticipate the same big-mountain capability and traditional turn character of the SuperCharger. All Mountain Intuitive / Surf-like Never a slave to orthodoxy, Voilé Manufacturing has always been on the forefront of creative thinking and unusual ideas to help improve the backcountry skiing experience. So when we asked ourselves how we might further modify the already-marvelous, incredibly-versatile V6, the answer seemed obvious: Take it fishing. And that’s exactly what we did—not for trout, bass or crappie—but by adding fish-like scales to its base, a feature we’ve dubbed the “Voilé Traction-Pattern Base.” The Voilé V6 BC represents Voilé’s third foray into the domain of scaled-base skis, as preceded by the Vector BC and Charger BC. Admittedly, such skis are not for everyone or every variety of slope. That said, for the backcountry skier who must continually make long approaches over undulating terrain, the V6 BC’s can be a welcome godsend. Thanks to the same lightweight Poplar core and carbon-fiber construction as the V6, as well as our signature Voilé Hybrid Rocker, the V6 BC will still impress when skiing steeper downhill pitches. And who’s gonna argue in favor of the tedium of applying and removing skins too often?
